Steven J. Lewis

Steve joined Verity’s Investment Team in 2006.

His background includes nine years at Dreyfus, where he spearheaded the development and rollout of the Dreyfus Managed Portfolio, which provided discretionary management of mutual fund portfolios for clients of the firm. While at Dreyfus, he also served as Personal Adviser to over two hundred high net worth families, with assets under advisement exceeding $500,000,000. After leaving Dreyfus, he ran a hedge fund for two years before moving to JPMorgan Chase as a Vice President of Investments.

After coming to Verity, Steve served for a number of years as a key member of the investment team that managed Verity’s tactical allocation strategies, and since 2009 has developed and managed the firm’s quantitative U.S. equity strategies.
