Mr. McGill is one of the founders of Verity Asset Management and its parent company, Verity Financial Group, in 1996. As a member of the executive management team, his contributions to strategic direction and a client-centered culture have been integral to the firm’s emergence onto the national stage.
With initial responsibilities in sales and sales management, he recognized early the shortage of quality investment advice in the middle to upper middle income market, particularly for retirement plan participants in higher education. The extensive personal client relationships he developed formed much of the foundation of the firm’s experience with the particular needs of plan participants, and he communicated his experience to the advisors he trained as the firm expanded its reach.
From 2005 through 2008, he served as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, helping translate the insights gained from sitting with clients into Verity’s fundamental philosophy of probability-based investment management.
Currently, Mr. McGill serves as a central resource for other investment advisors and registered investment advisor firms adopting Verity’s Retirement Account Solutions (RAS) and Multi-Manager Exchange (VMX) platforms. Drawing upon over 23 years of experience with clients, financial advisors, and plan administrators, he provides a unique perspective on how to effectively meet needs and develop business relationships in this environment.
