Gordon T. Wegwart
President and Chief Investment Officer
As Chief Investment Officer, he spearheaded the conceptualization of the firm’s proprietary tactical allocation strategy and risk management processes between 1998 and 2001 and has led the continued evolution of that strategy to the present. Beginning in 2005, he was instrumental in translating the signature characteristics of that investment process to the discretionary management of retirement accounts for plan participants and to the application of that process across retirement platforms of various types nationwide.

Vice President, Director of Advisor Services
Mr. McGill serves as a central resource for investment advisors and registered investment advisor firms adopting Verity’s Retirement Account Solutions (RAS) and Multi-Manager Exchange (VMX) platforms. Drawing upon over 23 years of experience with clients, financial advisors, and plan administrators, he provides a unique perspective on how to effectively meet needs and develop business relationships in this environment
Jeffrey A. Munsey
Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Jeff Munsey is the firm’s Chief Information Officer. He is a co-founder of Verity Asset Management and Verity Investments, Inc. in 1996 with three other principals and remains one of the principal owners. He architects, directs and implements the improvements needed in the technology infrastructure to meet both current and anticipated needs of the company.
Amy L. Simonson
Vice President, Finance and Operations
Ms. Simonson is the firm’s Vice President for Operations and Finance. She is a co-founder of Verity Asset Management and Verity Investments, Inc. in 1996 with three other principals and remains one of the principal owners. She has been responsible for development of operational infrastructure and corporate financial management as the firm evolved and progressively expanded in scope.
Brian R. Kurtzer
Senior Portfolio Manager
Brian began his career in the financial services industry as a commodities broker and trader. The majority of his 17 years in commodities were spent as a principle owner of TriCom Commodities, Inc. From 1983 to 2007, he was a member, first, of the Coffee, Sugar, Cocoa Exchange, and later, of the New York Board of Trade. He also served on the Board of Governors of the New York Board of Trade for multiple terms before leaving the commodities business and relocating his family to North Carolina.

Brad joined Verity’s Investment Team in June, 2014. Prior to Verity, Brad was a portfolio manager at Whitley Capital Advisors where he worked with a select group of clients, including the Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer of BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina, in managing and implementing various investments and capital structure initiatives. He spent 11 years at Franklin Street Partners in Chapel Hill, NC, working at various times as Portfolio Manager of the Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund, Head of Global Equity Strategies, Portfolio Manager for the Opportunistic Fixed Income Fund.

Michael DeCamillis has served as a consultant in over 225 retirement plans in the profit and non-profit arena for the past 10+ years. Currently, he serves as Director of Employer Plan Services for Verity Asset Management in Durham, North Carolina. His clients include private colleges, corporations, non-profit groups and associations.
He is licensed as a registered representative with his series 7, 6, 65, 63, and for life, health and ltc insurance.
Director, Business Development
Amy joined Verity Asset Management as Business Development Coordinator in February 2010. She supports over 50 representatives and their clients in all facets of new business, service, account retention and client satisfaction.
Ms. Angus relocated to North Carolina in 2003 from upstate NY. She has worked as a Senior Sales Assistant at Morgan Stanley in New York, American Express in North Carolina and Wedbush Morgan Securities in Portland, Oregon, providing support and service to high net worth clients beginning in 1996.
